Marrakech – Imlil – Tizi M’zik – Tamsoult
Transfer from Marrakech to Imlil at about 1,780 m, then begin a full trekking day into the Azzaden Valley. Cross Tizi M’zik at roughly 2,450 m, continue toward Azib n’Tamsoult and the Ighouliden waterfalls, and spend the night in mountain accommodation around Tamsoult. Walking time is around 6 hours.

Tamsoult – Ighouliden Waterfalls – Aguelzim Pass – Toubkal Refuge
Climb steadily out of Azzaden Valley toward the Toubkal Refuge, crossing the Aguelzim Pass at around 3,560 m. Enjoy wide views across the High Atlas before descending toward the refuge. Overnight at Toubkal Refuge at about 3,207 m, or in tents depending on weather and season.

Toubkal Refuge – Mount Toubkal Summit – Imlil – Marrakech
Start early for the ascent of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak at 4,167 m. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views over the High Atlas and, in clear weather, toward the Sahara. Descend back past the refuge and continue all the way to Imlil before returning to Marrakech. Expect a long day of around 8 to 9 hours of trekking.

Bring a sleeping bag, hiking boots, rain jacket, fleece, warm and light layers, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera, first-aid essentials, slippers and a head torch.
The guides are local registered mountain guides trained in Morocco and experienced on Toubkal and High Atlas routes. They can guide in several languages including English and French.
A 30% deposit is normally used to secure the booking, with the remaining balance paid later according to the agreed booking method.
