01
Marrakech – Imi Oughlad – Tizi n’Tachte – Tiziane
Drive from Marrakech to Imi Oughlad at about 1,450 m, meet the mule team and start walking through pine and juniper woodland. Cross Tizi n’Tachte, with views over the Imlil and Ait Oussaden valleys, stop for a picnic lunch and continue to the red-clay village of Tiziane at about 1,750 m for the night.

Tiziane – Tizi n’Taghrhourte – D’knt
Walk through walnut groves along the Assif n’Ait Oussaden Valley and climb toward Tizi n’Taghrhourte at around 1,995 m. Continue to the Assaka spring for lunch, then descend along forest edges to D’knt or nearby Agouns n Assoul for dinner and overnight accommodation.

D’knt – Tizi n’Tagdalte – Tizi Oussem – Tamsoult
Hike through walnut trees, corn and barley fields and traditional grazing areas, crossing Tizi n’Tagdalte before descending to a spring among juniper trees for lunch. Continue on mountain tracks to Tizi Oussem and finish the day at the summer village of Tamsoult.

Tamsoult – Waterfall – Tizi M’zik – Imlil – Marrakech
Visit the waterfall near Tamsoult, then climb toward Tizi M’zik at about 2,500 m. Descend into Imlil for lunch and finish the journey with the return transfer to Marrakech.

Bring a sleeping bag, walking boots, rain jacket, fleece, warm and light layers, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, camera, basic first-aid items, slippers and a head torch.
The guides are local registered mountain guides trained in Morocco and experienced throughout the High Atlas. They can guide in several languages including English and French.
A 30% deposit is normally used to secure the booking, with the remaining balance paid later according to the agreed booking method.
